He born in 1978. He started his career in 1995. He has completed a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Photography Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University. He has earned a doctoral degree at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. He has been working as Associate Professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Marmara University since 2006. He has been participated several group exhibitions both national and international. He has solo exhibition entitled “Black and White Istanbul”, “Scarecrow”, “Timeless Country: Afghanistan” and “AVM: Modern Fairs”. His photo reportages that were taken in Iran, Afghanistan, Yemen and Lebanon were published at Anadolu Agency, Depo Photos, AFP (Agence France Presse) and Getty Images. He currently continues his social documentary projects and works as a photographer at United Nations Development Programme’s (Turkey) projects. For the last one years he has been working Iran for his Caspian Sea project.
